NaBloPoMo Day!

Hello, readers! As you may have noticed, today is July 31st — the last day of National Blog Posting Month for Corey and I!

To be honest, we’re so excited that we’re barely refraining from breaking out into an off-key rendition of “Looks Like We Made It.” During NaBloPoMo, we doubled our hits from last month, posted exactly 33 posts including this one (my lucky number!), got linked to by another more prestigious blog, and actually got comments that weren’t just dialogues between Corey and I. Hurray, and thanks to all of our readers for making this possible! It’s so much easier to write when you know you’ll get more than two hits total on any given post, so thanks to our faithful readers.

In gratitude, Corey and I have agreed that while we will not participate in NaBloPoMo for August, we will be updating at least four times a week for that month. That means we’ll be continuing with Teaser Tuesday, Fairy Tale Friday, and Saucy Saturday, as well as posting at least one new review or musing.

We’re also introducing something called Transgressions, which is sort of a PostSecret of literary guilt, if you will. Essentially, Corey and I will be sharing our own literary guilty pleasures and we encourage you to share yours as well –anonymously, of course! It can be as simple as “I’ve read Dune 482 times,” or it can be a longer, more complicated sort of thing.

Feel free to send your Transgressions along to literarytransgressions@gmail.com, and we’ll start posting them next week.

Thanks again for sticking with us through NaBloPoMo, and we hope you’ll continue reading!
