Happy Birthday, LT!

Two years ago today, I wrote our very first post. Today, LT has 165 posts and two separate authors, registers on several major search engines, posts on a regular schedule, and has multiplied its readership by a factor of ten!
In honor of this occasion, I am announcing the First Annual LT Classics Challenge! Inspired by this post, I’m making the commitment this month to read at least one recognized major literary classic per week — and post about it.
Because LT has readers now, I’m inviting you all to join me! Each Thursday, I’ll be announcing the Classic of the Week so you can follow along if you wish.
This week, the book is Mansfield Park by the illustrious Jane Austen. I’ll be posting a half-way update on Monday with reading-group style questions designed to focus your reading for the discussion post next Thursday.
To sweeten the deal, I’ll also be offering a prize for one lucky challenge follower: a beautiful Penguin Clothbound Classic of our choice. Just make sure to participate in (i.e., comment on) at least one discussion post in order to be eligible for the drawing I’ll hold in December! Consider it our birthday gift to you :D

They are SO beautiful, and so appropriate for this challenge! I can tell you at least one of them made it to my Amazon wish list :D
And it really is amazing!
